Please note that with effect from 1st October 2018, British & Malayan Trustees Ltd (BMT), has resigned as Trustees and Administrators for both MSE and AMS Wakaf, a Court- appointed role they have held since the 1950s.
Under the Administration of Muslim Law Act (AMLA), the Trustee-ship of both the Wakaf are now transferred back to Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS), Zakat & Wakaf Strategic Unit.
The four Co-Trustees of the Wakaf, Mr. Eusoof A. Angullia, Mr. Muhd I. Angullia, Mr. Gamal S. Angullia and Mr. Mohd. Tafran Angullia have remained in their role. Now, reassigned as Distribution Agents of the Wakaf, the four continue to assist MUIS’ Zakat & Wakaf Strategic Unit, to oversee the review and processing of education and charity grants, in addition to the execution of the other obligations as required in the Will.
